About Savi Communicators
Savi Hamal is the founder of Savi Communicators, a speech pathology practice located in Norwest committed to delivering high quality, evidence based therapy to babies, children, adolescents, and adults across Norwest and North Shore area.
We also offer mobile, online therapy services, supporting clients in their homes, schools, and community settings. Our approach is client centred and collaborative, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic, tailored care that empowers individuals to reach their full potential. We also work closely with airway focused dentists and bodyworkers to provide a holistic approach to care for our Orofacial Myology clients.
At Savi Communicators, we believe everyone has their own unique way of communicating and deserves the opportunity to connect and build meaningful relationships with their family, friends, and community.
Savi is passionate about supporting children and adults who are non speaking, helping them find a voice to allow them to participate in the community.
Savi is interested in orofacial myology and feeding difficulties. Currently on her own orofacial myology journey, she understands firsthand the impact oral dysfunctions can have. This lived experience fuels her passion for addressing the root cause of challenges, not just the symptoms, and educating others about the importance of early, functional intervention.
One of Savi’s goals is to advocate and educate the community on celebrating each individuals’ differences.
Savi hopes to embark this goal to Nepal and create awareness about the acceptance of all disabilities and speech pathology services.
Savi firmly believes in the power of the quote by Robert M Hensel: ' There is no greater disability in society than the inability to see a person as more.'
In her spare time, you will find Savi with her two cats Cupcakes and Muffins. She also enjoys making TikTok videos and trying new food.
